Orange View Church of Christ (“Orange View,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers a text messaging program to keep members and friends of the congregation informed about the life of the church. Participation is entirely voluntary and free of charge, though message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Messages sent through this program include:
We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not solicit contributions by text message.
You may join the text list in either of two ways:
Either way, you’ll receive a single confirmation message asking you to reply YES. No further messages are sent unless you reply YES. If you don’t reply, you won’t receive messages from us.
Joining is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership, of participation in any ministry, or of any purchase.
Message frequency varies with the activity of the congregation. Most weeks you can expect about three to four messages.
You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from our text number. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send you no further messages unless you re-enroll. You may also ask the church office to remove your number at any time.

Message and data rates may apply. Delivery of messages depends on your mobile carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and most regional and prepaid carriers.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last revised.
Orange View Church of Christ respects the privacy of everyone who participates in our text messaging program.
We collect your mobile phone number, your name, and a record of your consent to receive messages, including the date it was given. We also retain a record of messages sent to you and of any request you make to stop receiving them.
Message frequency varies with the activity of the congregation and is typically about three to four messages per week. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Your mobile number is used solely to send you the congregational messages described above. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to build profiles for any commercial purpose.
No personal information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number under any circumstances.
We use a third-party messaging provider to deliver these messages on our behalf. That provider processes your number only to transmit messages for us and is not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
We retain your number and consent record for as long as you remain enrolled. If you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record of the opt-out so that we do not message you again in error.
You may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP. You may also contact the church office to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion.
