Never Alone
Hebrews 13:5
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
World English Bible
Hardship often makes us feel alone. Even when people care, they cannot fully understand what we carry. But God’s promise is steady and personal: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Trials may change our circumstances, but they do not change His presence. When everything else feels uncertain, this promise remains unshaken. God does not watch our suffering from a distance. He walks with us through it.
Dependence on God deepens when we cling to His presence more than to solutions. Sometimes the greatest comfort is not knowing how things will work out, but knowing we do not face them alone.
We may not always feel His nearness, but His promise is stronger than our feelings.
Reflect
- When have I felt most alone in my struggles?
- How would my outlook change if I truly believed God is with me right now?
- What would it look like to lean into His presence instead of away from Him?
Pray
Thank God for His promise to never leave you. Ask Him to make His presence real to your heart and to strengthen you with the assurance that you are never alone.
